A sweet piece of video. Mahalo!

Good job describing the particulars of the Competition, pointing out some of the interesting design features of several of the robots and capturing the excitement and fun of this growing event.

Some of the best moments, for me, were behind the scenes. For example the youngest members of the Nanakuli and China teams exchanged small souveniers and had fun overcoming language barriers and shyness.

We're developing the next generation of Science and Technology students. At the same time, young world citizens are striving to share their interests in problem solving and relationship building. That's a big win for us all.

Thanks, again, for the coverage. I hope you come back next year.

Thanks for the kind remarks - we were honored to win such a prestigious tournament.

A little point of clarification: VEX Team 254 is made up entirely of high school students. Although we have received grant money from NASA Ames in the past, our only adult supervision comes from two Bellarmine teachers who pay for our registrations, flights, and hotel fees.

We'd like to thank IFI, ROC, and the State of Hawaii for putting on such an excellent tournament, as well as all the Hawaii teams for their hospitality towards us Californians.
