SXSW Bound

March 12th, 2009 · No Comments · communities, conference

It’s 3:30am on Thursday morning and I am squeezing in this blog post before heading off to the airport SXSW bound. This will be my first SXSW and I am looking forward to it on a number of levels. I’m excited to geek out with the Interactive crowd and to catch the buzz on what’s up and coming in the Web 2.0 space. Also looking forward to taking in the Austin ambience but I am also looking forward to just getting away. Getting away from the routine of the jumping in the car 6 days a week to head to downtown Honolulu. The routine of being in the office 5 of those 6 days, the routine of producing a new show for Bytemarks Cafe, although that is still needing to be done even on the road. I’m just looking for a little change in the routine. The other thing I hope to do is find some time to post my thoughts here a bit more frequently than once a week. So much happens in any given week and before you know it the week is gone. I like the idea of idle time in the hotel room catching up with my own thoughts. Stay tune for more as Bytemarks hits the road on the way to SXSW Interactive in Austin, TX.
