- VSE Corporation Acquires Akimeka LLC – MarketWatch – VSE Corporation announced today that it has acquired Akimeka LLC, headquartered in Hawaii with offices in Virginia, Florida and Texas.

- Asia Pacific Clean Energy Summit and Expo – The Asia Pacific Clean Energy Summit and Expo will be held Aug. 30 – Sept. 2, 2010 at the Hawaii Convention Center.
- Spacenet gets funding to build Hawaii broadband service – Pacific Business News (Honolulu) – Broadband internet access will be extended to unserved regions in Hawaii thanks to a $7.5 million grant awarded to Spacenet Inc.
